This past winter Jaimie was asked to take photographs for the Cattaraugus County Tourism Board that would capture the excitement of the nightlife in Ellicottville, as well as highlight the Cross Country Skiing trails at the Allegany State Park and all the beauty that our State Park has to offer. Jaimie jumped at the opportunity because it allowed allowed her to photograph some of her favorite things that highlight the place she loves while utilizing the photography tools she's developed over the past 10 years.
We often take for granted the area we live in and this project really allowed the tourism board to capture the attractiveness of our community and county. Driving through the State Park and hiking up some of the Cross Country trails provided a great backdrop to really drive home what a wonderful place we live in.
These photographs will be used to help market the area and help to spread the word about the wonderful place we live. The area landscapes were a great subject to utilize HDR to create expressive and eye-catching photography that will grab the reader’s attention, which is exactly what the client was looking for. Jaimie's hope for these photographs was to remind everyone of why they love living here. With such a beautiful area, we're positive they will speak for themselves well beyond that.
